Let’s go where curiosity leads! 

Land Trust of North Alabama‘s Nature Play Camp seeks to hone children’s innate curiosity in nature and allow them the freedom to explore. 

Topics for this week-long outdoor day camp at Monte Sano Nature Preserve in Huntsville will include water critters, fossils, being nature detectives, map reading, animal adaptations, tracks, scat, the magic of trees, and more! 

Along with our exploration, we’ll include puzzles, crafts, games, and lots of splashing in Fagan Creek.

Dates/Time: June 17-21 for ages 6-8 | June 24-28 for ages 8-11 | 

Each day drop off is at 9:00AM and pick up is at 4:00PM.

Pine Ridge Day Camp is nestled on over 120 acres including rolling fields, beautifully wooded hills, and a sparkling lake.

Campers will have the opportunity to participate in lots of activities including horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, archery, rock-wall climbing, zip-lining, high & low ropes challenge courses, and more!

Pine Ridge Day Camp is accredited through the American Camp Association, so you can be assured that our facilities, staff, and programs meet strict standards established by the camping industry.

Camp is for 4yrs - completed 8th grade.  

Pine Ridge runs M-F, 9am - 4pm, with transportation provided from Huntsville, Madison, Hampton Cove, Hartselle, Priceville and Decatur.

  Lunch is also provided daily.

The mission of Pine Ridge is to empower all individuals by engaging them in outdoor activities that instill confidence, exploration and community.
