The Summer heat is here to stay for a while and there is no better way to entertain and exhaust your kids than a little water play and fun in the sun!
We have compiled a list of public pools, splash pads and a few other water-focused fun!
New Hope Public Pool -
The pool is opening for the 2024 season Tuesday, May 28th
NEW this year: Punch cards are available for purchase for $35 per card. Each card includes 10 punches.
Punches do not have to be used by the same person. Purchase a punch card, bring the entire family, and save some money for a fun day in the sun. Or use the punch card yourself and save some money over multiple visits!
Punch cards are available for purchase starting at season opening, May 28th, and can be used for daily admission thru the last day of public swim, July 31st.
Daily hours of operation beginning May 28th are
Tuesday-Friday 1:00pm-6:00pm
Saturday 10:00am-3:30pm
$5 a day/per person.
Parties begin Saturday June 1st. Pool parties can be scheduled on Saturdays beginning at 4pm or on Sundays.
$150/2 hour party. ($100 deposit due upon booking, remaining $50 due the day of party)

Scottsboro City Splash Pad -
The Splash Pad will open to the public on SATURDAY, May 25th at 10:00.
3 Reservation options:
ONE, you can rent a pavilion during regular hours. The splash pad remains OPEN to the PUBLIC, we just guarantee some pavilion space for you.
TWO, you can rent a pavilion in what we call "semi-private" rental after hours. This means you get a pavilion, but another group may get the other pavilion. Only your two groups will be admitted to the splash pad. This is only available from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
THREE, you can reserve the entire splash pad and both pavilions in a "fully private" after hours party on the same 5 days at the same 6:00 - 8:00 timeframe. During open or closed hours (when there is no reservation) the pavilions will remain a first come first served area.
Public usage of the Splash Pad is Free. There are two pavilions located at the park
Hours will be:
10am-6pm on Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and Sat.,
1pm-6pm on Wed.
and 1pm-5pm on Sun.
Swimsuit required. Swim diapers required under 2 years old.

Everybody Can Play Splash Pad - Huntsville
Open from May through September, the Everybody Can Play Splash Pad, located at Brahan Spring Park in Huntsville, is free to use and includes a large pavilion that is available to rent.
Bathrooms are attached to the splash pad for easy access. This Splash pad has approximately 6,000 square ft. It has a seating area with two picnic tables.

Bicentennial Park Splash Pad - Downtown Huntsville
The Bicentennial Park Splash Pad, located directly behind the EarlyWorks Children’s Museum is free to use with a gazebo for shade.
Please be advised, there are no public bathrooms nearby. There are five benches just off the splash pad that allow guardians to view/monitor children on the pad.
There is also a concrete bench that surrounds the pad that allows for plenty of seating for guardians. It has additional seating area with two picnic tables.
