Hear that sound?
Everyone is Buzzing about the 6th Annual Alabama Honey Festival coming up on October 6th
The 6th Annual Alabama Honey Festival is free and will be hosted at Alabama A&M Research in Hazel Green.
This year's community event promises to have more educational programs, demos and of course, specialty vendors and food trucks. Bring your love to learn and go on a scavenger hunt.
Want to talk bees? Come relax and chat at the DCA with seasoned beekeepers. They have plenty of stories to tell... it's not just for drones!
This Free community event is pet friendly (leashed) and appropriate for all ages. However, please be a good neighbor and keep things clean.
It will be a day your littles won't soon forget and it will be filled with interesting facts about how honey is made, the honeybee and her importance to our livelihood, food security, and sustainability.
We owe so much to the honeybee...Hail the Queen!
Educational programs will feature honeybees behind viewing glass, beekeepers, specialty vendors, food demos, and food trucks.
